We Fight Foundation Inc. has provided life changing materials and hosted mental health events to hundreds in the DMV area.
Our founder introduced raptherapy to these queens. It was special lyrics written by her son; which encouraged them to keep fighting even if they have dark and troubling days. It was not only a great way to provide them with a greater understanding of depression & suicide. It was a confidence booster! It also taught them what it means to support each other! A great way to began the conversation on the importance of mental health, self-love, self-worth and unity.
If your organization or school are interested in We Fight Foundation Inc. coming to speak or conduct a workshop, please email us at email@example.com.
Against the Battlefields of the Mind
An annual event at the Busboys & Poets in Hyattsville, Maryland.
This rally not only provides a platform for our Mental Health Warriors to speak their truth and express themselves through various art but it's also a celebration of life for our founder's daughter. She chose the second week of November because it was two weeks after her daughter's 13th birthday in 2009, that she first attempted suicide. To change the negative thoughts that surround that date, our founder chose to use each year around that time of year to celebrate God's grace and mercy on her daughter's purpose filled life!
